Hi, I'm Will, your dedicated running coach based in Dover. With over 10 years of personal running experience and a profound passion for the sport, I've embarked on a mission to make training accessible and straightforward for everyone. An avid runner, I've now taken the next step to help others enjoy running as much as I do! From the absolute novice to the seasoned athlete seeking improvement, I offer an 18-week running plan designed to guide you to the triumphant finish line of your first marathon. Tailored for beginners, this plan gradually builds up to a maximum of 30 miles per week. I'm here to support you in achieving your running aspirations, whether it's for races, personal milestones, or any running challenges you set your sights on. Whether you're new to running or have been at it for a while, I'm committed to helping you run faster and farther. Let's lace up those running shoes and embark on this incredible journey together!

While I may not be an avid racer, I have taken part in some amazing running events. It's not always gone to plan, and some of those events have resulted in a DNF (Did Not Finish) for a variety of reasons. I've also been fortunate enough to complete what many consider a "bucket list" event – The Dragons Back Race. Check it out on YouTube; I could never do it justice with a description!

I believe it's important to highlight that not every race goes to plan, and a DNF is always a possibility.

Personal Best Times:

According to Strava – As you can see, most of these races are trail races in the hills or mountains! I love being in nature and running through it. This does mean my personal best times for given distances aren't always the fastest. However, now that the excuses have been given, here are my current PB times (as of 25.07.24):

  • 5KM - 18:42
